The Role:
Are you an experienced team leader with a passion for empowering people with disability and creating inclusive communities? This is your chance to step into a pivotal leadership role at a unique community accommodation setting, where every day is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
As the Team Leader – Disability and Inclusion, you will:
o Lead, supervise, and support a diverse team of Disability Support Workers
o Oversee day-to-day operations of supported accommodation and community inclusion programs
o Manage rosters, service coordination, client engagement, and regulatory compliance
o Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders and local networks
o Champion personal development and independent living for participants
o Implement strategic initiatives and lead continuous improvement in service delivery
o Be a key player in ensuring safety, risk management, and quality standards in line with NDIS and Assisted Boarding House regulations
Requirements:
Essential:
o Minimum Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services or related field
o Experience supervising teams in disability or community-based accommodation settings
o Excellent interpersonal, leadership and de-escalation skills
o Strong knowledge of NDIS frameworks and person-centred approaches
o High-level organisational, tech and communication skills
o First Aid Certificate, NSW Driver’s Licence, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
o Demonstrated experience in managing service operations and staff performance
Desirable:
o Food Safety Supervisor certification
o Experience in capacity-building programs and transitional accommodation
o Knowledge of Assisted Boarding House regulations
