SMYL Community Services (SMYL) is a registered charity and leading education and training provider. We are seeking applications from experienced and motivated administrative officers with a demonstrated work history within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

The Administrative Officer works closely with and provides a wide range of administrative support to SMYL Trainers. They are also the first point of contact with clients and other stakeholders.

This role may part time or full time and is based in Fremantle.

The Administrative Officer will be required to perform a range of duties including:

1. Complete data entry to ensure that records of attendance, training delivery and other critical aspects of trainee records are accurate and up to date.

Note: SMYL uses Axcelerate as our student management system.

1. Effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

2. Work cooperatively with teachers, trainers and other administrators to achieve contractual outcomes.

3. Audit records for quality assurance.

4. Maintain a thorough and complete understanding of, and ensure compliance with, the 2025 Standards for Registered Training Organisations and other legal obligations related to RTOs.

5. Perform reception duties and other general administrative tasks as requested, in a friendly and professional manner.

To be successful in this position you should satisfy the following criteria:

1. High level administrative, organisational and time management skills.

2. Demonstrated strong computer skills and experience in using word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email packages.

3. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the role of a RTO (including 2025 Standards for RTO's) is strongly preferred.

4. Well-developed verbal communication skills and the ability to produce accurate reports, letters and other written materials to a high standard.

5. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively autonomously and as a team member.
