Key Regional Territory Sales Lead
We're on the hunt for a skilled sales professional to oversee and manage our regional territory in Bendigo through to Ballarat, and surrounding areas.
This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a growing trade region where you'll be responsible for increasing sales, developing key relationships with trade and commercial customers, and building market share.
Reporting directly to our Trade Sales Manager, this role presents autonomy, variety, and scope to make a real impact. Occasional travel, weekend work, and attendance at trade events may be required.
Responsibilities:
* Benchmark and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals and grow market share
* Develop and maintain lasting business relationships with trade and commercial clients
* Pursue new business opportunities through regular field visits, local market analysis, and competitor research
* Represent our brand at key industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
* Deliver timely sales performance updates, pipeline reports, and market insights to senior leadership
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in regional or territory sales management (automotive, industrial, or trade-related sectors preferred)
* Prior experience with a major oil brand or a reseller/distributor of a major oil and lubricant company
* Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets through effective business development strategies
* Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently across a wide geographical area
* A proactive leader who enjoys building connections and delivering value on the ground
* The legal right to work in Australia is mandatory
