Rabobank's Financial Restructuring team is seeking an experienced professional to join us as a Senior Relationship Manager. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing and working out Wholesale & Country Banking clients across Australia who are experiencing financial difficulties or are in default.
Key Accountabilities
* Working with clients and account managers to achieve, where possible, an agreed restructuring/recovery strategy.
* Reviewing client-related documentation, including banking code of practice correspondence and other relevant correspondence.
* Reviewing and commenting on requests received in relation to a client.
* Managing other stages of workouts, including farm debt mediation, asset sales, and debt reduction programs.
* Liaising with external parties, such as lawyers and insolvency professionals.
* Liaising with stakeholders within the risk division and other divisions within the bank to provide timely and appropriate updates on the management of problem loans.
* Preparing reviews and applications in conjunction with the country banking or wholesale transaction teams. Providing credit decisions where appropriate under the bank's delegation policy.
* Preparing and compiling key reporting documents for internal stakeholders, including management committee reports, Utrecht reporting, credit committee papers, and provisioning recommendations.
