Clinical Nurse Consultant - Gynaecology
As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient-centred care to individuals affected by cancer. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our service, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
The successful candidate will provide expert clinical and supportive care, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the cancer care continuum. You will possess a deep understanding of cancer treatment pathways, including health assessment, referrals, and on-going facilitation of clinical and supportive care.
* This role will enable you to form strong relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional support and guidance throughout their cancer journey.
You will also be required to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practice guidelines and research in the field of oncology and palliative care.
Key qualifications for this role include:
* A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
* Post Graduate qualifications in cancer nursing - oncology and/or palliative care AHPRA Nursing Registration Division 1 Minimum of 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience as a registered nurse with at least 3 years recent full time equivalent experience in Oncology, Palliative Care or Cancer Stream specific Nursing.
