About the Role
This position is part of the Regional Logistics team within the APAC region's COO Regional Supply Chain and Transport department. As a Transport and Customs Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of safety and quality culture in all activities.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage export/import/domestic transportation, including sea, air, courier, landslide, and over-dimensional transportation.
* Deal with Australia and New Zealand customs and documentation activities.
* Proactively drive analyses to ensure business continuity and improve business by constructing, standardizing, and leading improvement projects.
* Monitor and report transport risks and create periodic management information reports.
* Closely collaborate with customs authorities, port authorities, internal customers, site and service stakeholders, and external logistics service providers.
* Ensure documentary errors or process gaps/oversight do not lead to extra costs through delays, fines, penalties, etc.
* Performance manage forwarders and logistics business partners.
* Make on-time payments to service providers, budget vs actual, and support transportation claims.
* Coordinate general and project transport planning (e.g., road surveys) and executions of wind turbine spares, tools, transport equipment, and main components.
* Learn and extend support for transport and customs activities in NEA regions other than ANZ.
* Ensure on-time, quality, and cost for inbound/outbound transport operations for factories, service & sites, and construction teams.
* Assess capacity and capability of supplier bases to meet future requirements.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in Transportation/Logistics combined with a bachelor's or master's degree in either Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
* Demonstrated experience in Transportation and Logistics Operations of Wind Turbine Generators or similar products.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Package required (solid experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint), and SAP MM / SAP TM modules are an advantage.
* Strong analytical skills and use business knowledge for results.
* Identify problems proactively and implement effective solutions.
* Effective stakeholder management, ensuring collaboration, simplicity, accountability, and passion.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
* High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
* Fluent English communication (oral and written).
* Flexible work hours and flexible for occasional travel.

* Proactive, self-driven, and ready to go the extra mile to reach targets.
* Wind mill manufacturing industry experience / heavy equipment manufacturing experience is preferred.
