The Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our family business and play a pivotal role in driving our ongoing sales growth. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales by obtaining new business for the store, along with building strong relationships with our current client base.
Reporting to the Trade Managers, you will be an exceptional people and customer relationship leader, ensuring our team provides the best customer service in the industry. Ideally you will have prior working history in the building or hardware industry. You will play a crucial role in driving sales, forming new business relationships, and contributing to the growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities.
While knowledge of the building and hardware industry would be beneficial, we value a motivated attitude and passion for sales above all.
Key qualifications and attributes include.
* Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue targets and drive growth through timber and hardware sales.
* Identify and target potential new customers, by establishing and nurturing these relationships, particularly with key decision makers.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with our current customer base, understanding their needs and developing their spend with us
* Updating our system with client details and sales notes
Essential Capabilities & Experience
* Ability to work independently within our team environment.
* Proven track record of driving sales growth
* Proven track record of working towards targets and goals and exceeding them.
* Be driven and ambitious by nature, love the thrill of winning new business and nurturing customers.
* Be receptive to new ideas and ways of doing things.
* Work closely with others to resolve issues.
* Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
* Possess basic computer skills including MS Word & Excel.
* Current drivers’ licence
