Key Responsibilities :
Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised:
* Personal Care
* Manual Handling (including wheelchair transfers, variety of lifting machines including sling hoist, sit to stand lifter etc).
* Mealtime assistance
* Companionship
* Medication Administration
* Light Housekeeping
* Assisting clients to access the community
* Running errands for clients
* Detect and report any concerns to your Care Designer
* Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
Skills and Experience :
* Current experience in community care/ home care/ Support Work/AIN and working with clients with complex physical needs.
* Relevant qualifications to your position and be able to provide evidence of this.
* A reliable vehicle and current drivers licence, and are willing to travel to client homes in the region.
* Good communication skills and be courteous and responsive when we contact you.
* You will be flexible and available to commence work at 7am or 8am.
* You are a self led leader with the ability to take responsibility for your own behaviour & success, however you are also coachable to doing things the 'Nurse Next Door' way.
* You must be able speak and write in English, however other languages will also be an asset
Mandatory Requirements
* ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
* NDIS Workers Screener Clearance
* Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience
* Current working rights in Australia
