An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and customer-focused Claims Advisor to join our Personal Injury Claims team at Suncorp. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of personal injury claims, achieving timely and cost-effective outcomes while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll play a critical role in improving claimants' experiences, supporting their recovery, and ensuring compliance with all legislative and procedural requirements. What you’ll do As a Claims Advisor, your key responsibilities will include: Managing a portfolio of complex personal injury claims from lodgement to resolution. Ensuring all claims are assessed and processed in line with legislative, regulatory, and procedural requirements. Engaging with injured claimants, legal representatives, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to facilitate early and effective claim resolution. Identifying and supporting rehabilitation needs and facilitating timely recovery. Reviewing medical, financial, and investigative reports to guide decisions. Managing litigated claims and participating in settlement conferences and hearings where required. Continuously reviewing claim strategies to ensure effective cost and duration outcomes. Collaborating with internal specialists including Technical Advisors, Injury Management Advisors, and Investigation teams. What you’ll bring Previous experience with claims management or strong customer service experience. Strong decision-making and analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer focus and ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders. Ability to manage time effectively, work under pressure, and meet targets. Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset. Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
