**About the role**:
We are looking for a junior member to join our team.
No commercial bakery experience is necessary, but experience in a commercial cookery environment is preferred.
You will be trained in producing high-quality, hand-crafted, baked goods in our sourdough & viennoiseries departments.
You will need the motivation to grow and develop skills while being well supported by our management team.
You will need to demonstrate and maintain a positive attitude and a solid and sound understanding of good hygiene practices.
It is essential in this position that you are willing to work as part of a team with a collaborative nature.
A salary of $55k is on offer for the right applicant.
**Principal Responsibility**:
With the appropriate training you will be involved in managing ovens, mixing of doughs, shaping/moulding of sourdough products & pastry work.
You will be expected to follow recipes, work in a clean & professional manner and be respectful of all other team members in the workplace.
Possess a level of fitness enabling you to lift and work on your feet in accordance with OH & S guidelines.
A full commitment to food safety procedures and have good attention to detail.

Pay: $23.45 - $35.19 per hour
