SAP Business Warehousing Developer/System Analyst
Gov Recruit is seeking an experiencedSAP Information Architect / SAP Business Warehouse (BW) DeveloperandSAP Technical Support Officerto join a federal department within the Financial Services Branch.
These are high-impact, EL1-equivalent role supporting critical financial reporting, data modelling, and SAP BW optimisation across the department's global financial systems.
The positions are basedonsite in Canberra (hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days WFH).
Key Responsibilities
Design and automateSAP data extractsinto reporting cubes for enterprise-wide use.
Develop, maintain, and optimise SAP BW reports covering multiple SAP modules.
Liaise with business and technical teams to ensure data structures meet DFAT's reporting requirements.
Build consolidated reports using SAP BW and other DFAT financial systems.
Ensure all documentation, report designs and data models are up to date.
Provide high-level reporting and data modelling support to the Financial Services Branch.
Required Skills & Experience (Essential)
Extensive SAP Business Warehouse (BW) knowledge and hands-on experience.
OR
Extensive SAP knowledge and experience.
StrongSAP GUIexperience.
Proven experience across the following SFIA-aligned skills (Level 6 unless stated otherwise):
Stakeholder Relationship Management (RLMT)
Customer Service Support (CSMG)
Release & Deployment (RELM – Level 5)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary ICT team.
Desirable Qualifications
Power BIreporting and dashboarding capability.
Experience working within Australian Government finance systems.
Knowledge of Edge products that interact with SAP.
