Sporting the dual crown of Australia's oldest dairy and Australia's most innovative dairy, Brownes Dairy has an opportunity for a Product Development Technologist on a full-time permanent basis. Community is at the heart of what we do as we collect over 120 million litres of milk each year from more than 40 dairy farming families located in WA's pristine Southwest region. All Brownes Dairy products are made in WA. Our CEO is from WA too. The Role
A Product Development Technologist at Brownes Dairy plays a key role in providing delicious and nutritious products across Australia and the world through the creation of new and innovative products. To enable our products to reach our community, you will coordinate product factory trials and prepare product labelling and specifications in line with the Australian Goods Standard Code.
Responsibilities
* Project Management for New Product Development
* Internal and External Stakeholder management
* Conduct factory trials to ensure feasibility of factory scale production
* Development of accurate and detailed specifications
* Provide proactive support to our Operations area
Qualifications
* Bachelor Level Qualification in Food Science Technology or similar
* Experience within a Product Development role (Dairy preferred but not essential)
