A highly respected contractor, renowned for delivering exceptional-quality builds, is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team. With a diverse portfolio of commercial projects - from new constructions to commercial fit‑outs valued between $10M and $50M - this is an opportunity that should not be overlooked.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting all aspects of project delivery, from Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) through to practical completion. Your responsibilities will span a diverse range of duties, including but not limited to:
* Oversee the development, procurement, and administration of subcontractor work packages, ensuring alignment with project requirements and contractual obligations.
* Manage interactions with clients and subcontractors, fostering effective communication and resolving contractual matters to support successful project outcomes.
* Coordinate and compile detailed monthly reports, providing insights on contractual performance, financial tracking, and risk management.
* QA management and tracking of the relevant ITPS
* Assist the PM in the management of the project schedule
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, it is essential that you have demonstrated experience within the construction industry as a Contracts Administrator / Site Engineer combined with the following:
* Proven ability to oversee the full contract lifecycle, from procurement to completion, within the commercial construction sector.
* Solid understanding of contractual obligations, financial reporting, cost control, and risk mitigation strategies to protect project interests.
* Strong communication skills and demonstrated experience managing subcontractor work packages and client relationships effectively.
