This role will be required to work a roster of shifts throughoutthe week, evenings and weekends depending on event needs.

The Role
Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre (PRACC) is seeking askilled Technicians to join our team. This role involves the setup, operation, and breakdown of a wide range of technical equipment, with a primary focus on lighting. You will play a crucial role inensuring the smooth execution of events by managing all aspects of the technical setup, including lighting, stage machinery, andspecial effects.
PRACC has recently upgraded its technical inventory with the addition of Riedel Bolero wireless intercom systems, Allen &Heath dLive digital mixing consoles, and the GrandMA3 lightingcontrol system. You'll have the opportunity to work with these industry-leading tools, contributing to our ongoing commitment to technical excellence and innovation.
Safety is a top priority in all our operations, and you'll be expected to adhere to all safety protocols while maintaining theequipment in optimal condition. Collaboration with other teammembers and continuous skill development are also essential aspectsof this role.
About You
You have a strong background in theatre technology, particularly inlighting, and are adept at troubleshooting and resolving technicalissues in a live environment. Your expertise in stagecraft is complemented by a commitment to safety and precision in your work. Experience with advanced systems like Riedel Bolero, Allen &Heath dLive, and GrandMA3 is highly valued, and you're eager toexpand your skills in these areas.
Your ability to communicate effectively with other team membersis crucial, as is your dedication to maintaining and managingtechnical equipment to the highest standards.
