This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Developer to join our consulting team, working with clients to define and deliver enterprise-wide data architecture, governance, and modern data platform outcomes.
This full-time position is based in Perth, Western Australia.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain web-based applications using modern technologies and frameworks
* Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features
* Provide second and third-level support to our clients, or internal support team
* Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience
* Design and optimize database schemas, as well as efficient and scalable queries
* Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software functionality and performance
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, sharing knowledge with the team
* Document technical specifications, best practices, and guidelines for software development
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
* At least 3 years experience as a Developer
* Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
* Expertise with database systems (eg. SQL, MongoDB) and writing efficient queries
* Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure
* Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and agile development methodologies
* Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality results within deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
This role will be based in Perth with some travel; and will be a full-time position.
