About the role
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team at Blooms The Chemist Karabar in Queanbeyan, NSW. As a full-time Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our customers and supporting the pharmacy's operations.
What you'll be doing
* Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
* Providing professional advice and counselling to customers on the safe and appropriate use of their medication
* Monitoring patients' medication therapy and identifying potential drug interactions or adverse effects
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Assisting with the management and ordering of pharmacy stock
* Staying informed of changes in pharmaceutical regulations and best practices
What we're looking for
* A valid Pharmacist registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Pharmacist, preferably in a community pharmacy setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and other healthcare providers
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Proficiency in the use of pharmacy management software and other relevant IT systems
* A commitment to providing exceptional patient-centred care
