About the Role We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of a single shopping centre in South-West Brisbane, working directly for the landlord. This role involves working closely with the broader property management team to handle day-to-day retail property management and admin tasks. You’ll be the go-to person for property, facilities, and accounts-related queries, helping to keep everything running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Manage budgets, forecasts, CAPEX, and financial reporting Oversee lease renewals, tenant billing, rental arrears, and debt recovery Coordinate maintenance, repairs, inspections, and WHS compliance Support leasing and business planning, identifying cost-saving and value-add opportunities Maintain effective records, charges, billings, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable using MRI Software Build strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and local stakeholders Conduct regular inspections and address operational risks, whilst maintaining high presentation standards Skills and experience required for this role 3–5 years of experience in shopping centre management Experience with MRI Software is highly regarded Strong financial acumen and sound knowledge of retail legislation Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic Benefits Work direct for an established property group Permanent Part-Time Role | 32 hrs per week Single Asset | South-West Location How to apply If this sounds like the opportunity you have been looking for and would like to apply, then please click Apply now or get in touch with Elizabeth Croll on 0492 991 477 or ecroll@iconicrecruit.com.au for a confidential discussion.
