Quality Officer – Precast Concrete

Fusion Civil is expanding and we're looking for a motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Officer to join our QA and Precast team in Warnervale. If you're starting your career in construction, enjoy hands‑on work, and have an eye for detail, this is a great opportunity to grow with a respected civil construction company.
About the Role
You'll support our precast operations by carrying out pre‑pour and post‑pour inspections to ensure our concrete products meet project standards. Full training is provided.
You will:
* Work Monday to Friday in our Warnervale Precast Yard
* Inspect and measure precast components against drawings
* Record results and report defects or issues
* Support quality systems and documentation
* Work closely with production and yard management
* Help improve processes and maintain high-quality standards
What You Need
No formal QA experience required — just the right attitude and willingness to learn.
We're looking for:
* Experience in precast or civil construction (advantage, not essential)
* Ability to read or learn to read construction drawings
* Confidence using measuring tools (tape, laser, etc.)
* High attention to detail and pride in quality work
* Reliable, proactive, safety‑focused mindset
* Good communication and teamwork skills
Requirements:
* Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
* White Card
* Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
* Flexible with start/finish times
* Full Australian working rights
