About the Position:
As a Monitoring Operator, you will:
- Monitor alarm systems across WA, VIC, ACT, and NSW
- Book after-hours jobs and dispatch technicians nationwide
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, performing basic troubleshooting
- Ensure all alarms and calls are actioned promptly
- Maintain professional communication with internal and external customers, including Emergency Services
- Support various business areas, including Customer Service
- Perform customer verifications and resolve complaints as per procedures
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Actioning all alarms and calls in accordance with Response Centre procedures
- Communicating effectively with internal and external customers
- Scheduling and dispatching technicians to customer call outs
- Maintaining a reputation for caring and professional service
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong customer service experience, preferably in monitoring or emergency call centres
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with technology and quick adaptability to new systems
- Shift work experience (highly desirable)
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)
- National Police clearance or ability to obtain
- First Aid qualification or ability to obtain
