We are seeking a Science Teacher (Psychology and Biology) to join Pembroke School. This full-time, fixed-term role for 2026 offers the opportunity to inspire and engage students in Psychology and Biology across both the SACE and IB programmes.

With expertise in Psychology and experience in Biology, you bring both subject knowledge and a commitment to engaging, student-centred learning. Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Psychology and Biology lessons aligned with SACE and IB requirements.
* Provide academic guidance, feedback, and pastoral support to senior secondary students.
* Integrate innovative teaching strategies and digital tools to enhance student learning.
* Contribute to curriculum development and collaborative planning within the Science faculty.
* Support co-curricular, enrichment, and extension opportunities in Science across the Senior School.

You will bring
* Proven experience teaching Psychology, with the ability to deliver senior Biology.
* Knowledge of SACE and/or IB curriculum frameworks and assessment practices.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
* A collaborative approach, contributing to faculty initiatives and whole-school culture.
* A reflective and growth-oriented mindset, open to innovation and continual professional learning.

* Current Working with Children Check (South Australia)
* Current Plink RRHAN-EC training
* Masterclass and Fundamentals (including Protective Practices)
* First Aid and CPR
