Catering Industries Pty Ltd is a leading provider of contracted hospitality services (catering, cleaning, and laundry) to Australia's health and aged care, education, government, corporate, and resources sectors. We currently employ over 2,000 personnel across various operations in our active market.
Base award hourly rate for this role is $24.98 plus casual loading ($31.22 per hour Mon-Fri).
We are seeking Cleaning & Laundry Attendants to work in our client's aged care facility located in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
Schedule
* Multiple shifts available across Monday to Sunday (Casual/Part-time).
* Weekend and Public Holiday loadings apply.
*The successful applicant must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and provide a current Federal Police Check certificate, or be willing to apply for one.*
Duties Include
* Cleaning resident rooms, public areas, toilets, and dining rooms in an aged care facility.
* Responsible for laundering residents' linen and personal clothing.
* Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and participating in infection control programs.
* Maintaining records of cleaning schedules and duties.
* Safe storage and use of cleaning agents, including correct quantities and types.
Key Attributes
* Excellent communication skills - proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
* Previous cleaning and/or laundry experience highly regarded.
* Dedication and enthusiasm.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Safe use of chemicals.
* Knowledge of Work, Health & Safety and Infection Control.
* High respect for the elderly; experience in aged care cleaning is a bonus.
