Curtin University is seeking a dynamic and experienced international student recruitment expert to lead its efforts across South Asia.
This role involves overseeing key relationships with registered agents, schools, and partners within the region.
The successful candidate will implement strategic recruitment plans, drive student engagement, and achieve enrolment targets.
Key responsibilities include:
* Identifying opportunities for market development and expansion of international student recruitment in designated regions.
* Collaborating with recruitment consultants to develop effective conversion strategies.
* Promoting all courses, campuses, articulation agreements and evaluating recruitment activities in designated regions.
* Ensuring coordination across university, faculty, regional, and recruitment plans through consultation with deans and aligned teams.
* Managing agent service delivery in their region.
* Establishing networks with staff, government representatives, industry associates, feeder and pathway institutions for effective recruitment.
Selection criteria include:
* Postgraduate qualifications or relevant experience combined with extensive experience, OR an equivalent combination.
* A strong understanding of the international student recruitment sector, including legislative requirements, industry structures, market dynamics, and current trends.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with ability to consult, negotiate, and build relationships with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
* Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with ability to lead teams, work independently, and drive projects to completion.
* High-level organisational and time management skills, with ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Desirable skills include conversational fluency in one or more languages other than English and experience in student recruitment across the South Asia region.
