What is the role?
Reporting to the Head of Reward, you will be a Senior Reward Partner within our Reward Partnership team.
Your role will shape and enhance performance and reward frameworks, manage the delivery of core performance and reward calendar activity, drive the design and implementation of policies and programs aligned with Group strategy, and ensure strong governance, compliance and operational excellence within your divisional portfolio/s.
Collaborating closely with the People teams and business leaders, you will be a strategic partner that is able to turn complex data and rules into clear stories and practical advice, while mentoring others in the Reward Partnering team so that reward feels consistent, transparent and well understood across the bank.
Key Responsibilities
* Play a lead role in the translation of Group reward strategy into divisional execution, designing and implementing enterprise‑aligned reward frameworks, policies, programs and tools that drive business performance and enhance organisational consistency.
* Assess and evolve divisional reward programs, identifying opportunities to improve alignment, transparency and competitiveness, and embedding best‑practice approaches across the organisation.
* Lead or oversee strategic reward projects, managing stakeholder expectations, project delivery and change impacts to ensure successful adoption of new frameworks, systems and policies.
* Drive and govern key performance and reward calendar activities, delivering high‑quality analysis, strategic guidance and oversight of annual processes including performance, remuneration review and incentive cycles.
* Build strong, trusted partnerships with People teams, COE colleagues and senior business stakeholders, ensuring reward solutions are well understood, effectively implemented and support ongoing organisational performance.
* Share expertise across the Performance and Reward Centre of Excellence and act as a mentor for more junior members across the team, uplifting capability, enabling knowledge transfer and contributing to the design of enterprise reward initiatives.

What do I need?
The Reward Partnering team is responsible for remuneration and divisional incentive schemes as well as divisional remuneration oversight committees and super board activities. This team plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery and embedment of Group performance and reward frameworks into the business. We partner closely with other CoE teams, divisional People teams and business leaders.
Some things are essential for success:
* Extensive reward, remuneration and performance management, ideally gained in large and complex organisations.
* Advanced analytical and modelling capability, including the ability to interpret complex workforce, remuneration and performance data, identify insights and trends.
* Solid end‑to‑end project leadership skills, with a track record of delivering enterprise reward initiatives, navigating ambiguity, managing risks and driving successful change outcomes.
* Keen sense of commercial acumen couple with demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leaders.
