Event Planning Professional
This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work as an Event Officer with the city. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with event organisers, emergency services, internal stakeholders, and special agencies.
* Relationship Building: Establish and sustain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate smooth event operations.
* Onsite Support: Attend events as required to provide on-the-ground support to event organisers.
* Promotional Opportunities: Encourage event organisers to leverage promotional opportunities through events planning.
* Risk Management: Promote and implement robust risk management practices and procedures to safeguard participants and attendees.
The Event Officer will also be responsible for undertaking specific tasks related to city-supported activities, including events managed by the city. This will involve collaborating with event organisers to draft and execute stakeholder communication plans when necessary, preparing detailed reports and correspondence, and adapting to varying work environments.
