Job Overview
We are seeking a hands‑on and customer‑centric Store Manager to drive the team based in our Marcs and David Lawrence team in our David Jones Canberra concession store, working across womenswear and menswear.
Responsibilities
* Customer service and loyalty
* Achieving sales budgets
* Visual merchandising
* Stock control
* Recruitment
* Scheduling and reporting
Roster: Tuesday to Saturday, no late nights.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a store manager in fashion retail
* Concession management experience preferred but not mandatory
* Excellent sales skills and previous experience exceeding store budgets/KPIs
* Excellent communication and creative problem‑solving skills
* Proven success in managing and growing a VIP customer base
* Confidence delivering a first‑class service at all times to all customers
* Abundant energy, positivity and the ability to motivate others
* Large passion for fashion
* Solid leadership and management skills including previous experience managing a high‑performing team
* Love for our brand and pride as a key brand ambassador
