The position at Mitimes
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Software Engineer with team leadership experience to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and scaling our applications as well as defining technical direction, architecture, best practices, mentoring and code reviews and acting as a bridge between developers and the product manager. The right candidate should possess strong coding, leadership and communication skills and a thorough understanding of contemporary development practices and tools.

What are we looking for:
Mid level coding proficiency (required)
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or Elixir (desired)
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Experience with or a desire to learn functional programming.
Ability to troubleshoot issues when they arise.
Ability and willingness to manage and maintain the stack.
Team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment.
Clear and effective communicator, able to articulate to all stakeholder levels
Open to learning new technologies to drive innovation.
Skilled at prioritising tasks in a fast-paced, agile setting.
