Great Salary Package 5 weeks annual leave Your new company Hays Recruitment are pleased to partner with a well-established remote Council providing essential services to a remote community in regional Far North Queensland. Due to an increase in work load they are currently seeking an experienced Plumber to join their busy construction and maintenance team. This is a residential role, requiring relocation to the council with accommodation and relocation assistance provided. Your new role Providing support to the maintenance and housing services team you will be responsible for responding to range of residential and commercial customers within the community. You will assist in diagnosing & troubleshooting plumbing issues, maintenance, rough in & fit off, roofing work and solar hot water installations. This will be a Monday to Friday opportunity with overtime available. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be a trade qualified plumber. You will need to hold a current QLD plumbing licence or be willing to obtain one (if from out of state), a gas licence is desirable, a construction white card and have experience in domestic or commercial plumbing, maintenance, and repairs. You will ideally have prior experience working in a remote Indigenous community and be culturally aware.
