Job Title: Field Installation Technician (Contractor)
Reports To: Regional Operations Manager & Project Lead
Location: Perth (WA)
Project Duration: Perth based 5 week contract. (with potential for further project work)
Squizify is seeking a motivated Field Installation Technician to join our team for an immediate start. We are looking for one technician based in Perth.
This is a hands‐on role perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, regional travel, and delivering efficient results.
Role Description
You will be responsible for the physical rollout of our hardware across various customer sites.
* Installation: Installing small hardware units and removing small hardware units and installing new replacements.
* Data Entry: Logging all activity and unit information into our internal digital systems.
* Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of daily operations for your supervisor.
* Travel: Executing a provided schedule of site visits, including overnight stays in remote locations.
Transport Requirements
* Must own a reliable car: You are required to use your own vehicle for visits within a specific radius of your home base.
* License: You must hold a valid car driver's license with no more than 3 demerit points in the last 3 years.
* Note: Due to the nature of the equipment and travel distances, motorbikes and scooters are not appropriate for this role.
* Reimbursement: Fuel costs for local travel will be reimbursed. For remote sites requiring air travel, Squizify provides flights, accommodation, and rental vehicles.
Candidate Requirements
* Technical Savvy: No prior experience is required as full training is provided, but you must be comfortable using mobile apps to log data.
* Availability: Ready to start immediately and available Monday–Friday.
* Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills.
* Autonomy: Highly organized, detail‐oriented, and able to work without direct supervision.
Desirable Experience But Not Necessary
* Experience in hospitality
* Experience in roles involving significant driving.
* Rate: Competitive daily rate (discussed during the interview).
* Materials: All tools and hardware materials provided.
