The Senior Solution Architect will own the end to end architecture and design process, and ensure architectural direction, patterns and decisions for new and existing products and featu
res.
Reporting to the CTO, this role is available preferably as a permanent position paying up to $180k base plus super per
annum.
The work arrangement will be hybrid with an average of 3 days per week in the
office.
This role owns the end-to-end solution architecture for products and platforms, ensuring scalability, security, dependencies and compliance across all client facing init
iatives.
You'll provide architectural clarity, uplift delivery readiness, and lead and mentor a small team of Business Analysts to deliver high-quality requirements and user
stories.

nsibilities:
Architectural Leadership: Drive solution design, patterns, and standards for new products, features, and compliance initiatives. Scalability, integration, dependencies
and PoC work.Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Product, IT, and Operations to ensure technical feasibility and architectu
ral integrity.Team Leadership and mentoring: Lead and develop Business Analysts, ensuring clarity and quality in requirements and s
pecifications.Delivery Readiness: Influence prioritization, sequencing, and sprint preparation to enable predictable, high-qua
lity delivery.Compliance & Security: Embed security-by-design and ensure adherence to PCI DSS, AML/CTF, and Australian Priva
cy Principles.
Your background:
10+ years in Solution Architecture or complex systems design. Payments or e-Commerce style solutions and
how they integrateStrong development background – you know how a solution is built, you can
explain how and whyProven leadership in leading or managing small teams and influenc
ing Agile delivery.Expertise in integrations, APIs, microservices, and archit
ectural governance.Experience in regulated environments or fintech/ payments or sim
ilar would be greatCertifications like TOGAF or AWS/Azure Ar
chitect a
re a plus.
