Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor
3+ years' post-graduate experience working in Ireland or the UK
Role Overview
The successful candidate will join a start‑up consultancy, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This is a hands‑on role with significant exposure to complex and high‑value claims across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Work across a wide range of construction and engineering disputes, including tunnelling, renewables, and solar projects
* Gain insights into the Australian strata market and the management of major and minor defects
* Assist in the preparation of adjudication applications and responses
* Support the preparation of expert witness reports
* Gain exposure to NCAT, litigation, and arbitration proceedings
* Attend and observe cross‑examinations in NCAT, the Supreme Court, and the District Court
* Receive structured APC training through an in‑house APC assessor
Candidate Profile
Proactive and self‑motivated
Willing to work in a fast‑paced, delivery‑driven environment
Able to meet tight deadlines, including working outside normal business hours more often than not
Keen to learn and take ownership of tasks from an early stage
Additional Information
