**Duties**
- Organize and set up the dishwashing station, ensuring all cleaning supplies and equipment are readily available.
- Review the cleaning schedule and special requirements for the day, ensuring a clear understanding of the workload.
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Pay close attention to the cleanliness of the dishware and equipment, ensuring everything is spotless and ready for service.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a steady flow of clean dishes and utensils, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
- Support kitchen staff as needed, helping with basic prep or additional cleaning tasks during busy periods.
- Follow directions from the Head Chef and kitchen management, completing tasks and duties assigned for the shift.
- Maintain consistency in cleanliness and sanitation, following established quality standards.
- Collaborate with Front of House staff to ensure clean dishware is always available, contributing to smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks and other special cleaning projects as required.
**Work arrangements**
- 3pm-11pm Monday
- Thursday
- 12pm-5pm Friday
- Sunday
- 4pm-11pm Friday-Sunday
**Employment conditions (including "special conditions")**
- Previous experience working in a high-volume kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety standards, with experience working within health and safety guidelines.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm to learn, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to assist and collaborate with kitchen staff and support other team members when needed.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Eligibility to live and work in Australia.

Pay: $29.04 - $34.85 per hour
