Leading financial services client are seeking an established category lead to join their team for 12 months.
**Your new company**
Our client is a household name in the financial services space, who have recently undergone a significant phase of positive transformation within the procurement function. As a result of an internal secondment, there has been an opportunity arise for an experienced senior category management professional to join their function for 12 months to drive category strategy across property, facilities and insurance.
**Your new role**
As the Property, Facilities and Insurance Category Manager, you will be the key figure responsible for driving this portfolio of spend within the organisation, dealing with a broad group of stakeholders at all levels to ensure they can unlock value through effective market engagement, back end portfolio management and overall category strategy.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will be an established procurement strategist with experience managing a several hundred-million-dollar portfolio of similar spend.
You will have experience directing established people in a senior procurement context, with the ability to be a key figure in defining category priorities and delivering category strategy.
You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Prior experience with property, facilities and insurance spend will be highly advantageous. Financial services experience would be highly advantageous but non-essential.
