Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
 * Conducting original research in NAD biology and axon degeneration, with a focus on drug discovery and optic nerve diseases.
 * Leading projects independently and as part of a team.
 * Collaborating with teams across the organization and actively contributing to its mission.
 * Disseminating research findings through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
 * Providing informal mentoring and guidance to junior team members.
 * Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity of thought, collaboration, excellence, and outcome-driven work.
About You
 1. PhD in Neuroscience, Ophthalmology, Vision Sciences, or a related field.
 2. Experience working with iPSC-derived neuronal cultures and primary neurons.
 3. Experience with mouse models of neurodegeneration.
 4. Expertise in axon degeneration and NAD biology.
 5. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
 6. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
 7. Proven record of producing original, high-quality research.
 8. Strong organisational and time management skills.
