About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Recovery Partner to join our team in Western Australia.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside residents as they re-learn or gain new skills to live independently in the community using the recovery approach.
* Assisting with daily living activities such as cleaning, cooking and shopping is also an essential part of this role.
* Moderating medication management and assisting clients to achieve short-term/long-term recovery goals is another key responsibility.
* The ideal candidate will also be able to support clients to become active members of their local community.
* Identifying opportunities for education, training and employment is also an exciting aspect of this position.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to empathise with people who may be experiencing complex mental health conditions.
* A Certificate III in Mental Health or higher qualification, or equivalent experience, is highly regarded for this role.
* Relevant work experience in a similar field is also essential.
* A commitment to facilitating recovery through individualised support services is a must.
* The ability to work autonomously and take initiative is also important.
* An analytical mindset and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role.
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster is required.
