As our OSHC administrator, you will oversee our portfolio of services throughout all locations. This role is located in New Gisborne, 5 days a week part time ongoing. You'll be the first point of contact for families and children at SchoolsOUT This role is perfect if you thrive in a dynamic environment: no two days are the same. You'll be handling enrolments, admin tasks, phone and email enquiries, and family communications — all while juggling changing priorities and working under time-sensitive conditions. Experience in a similar setting would be beneficial for this role.
Role and Responsibilities
* Provide support to OSHC Area Managers/ Coordinators with areas including enrolments and bookings, rostering and timesheets, debt reporting and collecting, family communication and CCS.
* Provide support through being the first point of contact for actioning emails, calls and OWNA notifications as they come through.
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding and induction documentation as required.
* Provide assistance to positively promote and oversee improvement strategies eg: family surveys.
* Maintain and update service compliance documents eg: Staff Records
* Maintain a sound and current understanding of the National Quality framework and Family assistance law.
* Comply, maintain and review all SchoolsOUT service policies and procedures in accordance with the Education and care services Law and National regulations.
* Provide regular reports to the Operations Manager under areas as requested.
* Promote child wellbeing of children by adopting and adhering to the National principles of Child safe Standards.
* Participate in administrative projects delegated by OSHC management team.
Job Requirements
* Valid Employee WWCC (or willing to obtain)
* Experience with managing childcare/OSHC admin preferred not essential.
* Have a sound understanding of Child Care subsidy funding requirements.
* Working knowledge of Child Care Subsidy funding requirements is essential.
* Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, word, sharepoint and Teams.
* Basic data entry skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
* Exceptional written and verbal skills.
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Creative and marketing experience highly valued.
* Own car for transportation.
