On behalf of our valued client, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
This highly challenging but rewarding position will see the successful applicant lead a team of up to 20 drivers and liaise closely with a number of key clients.
In addition, day to day responsibilities will include; Coordinating and scheduling day to day operations of drivers runs and weekly work schedules Deliver driver debriefs, OHS reporting and incident management Assist with the coordination of compliance measures including mass and fatigue management along with vehicle maintenance Lead high level of customer service within the team Assist with recruitment, training and overall management of drivers with a focus on continuous improvement and retention Manage warehouse stock movements General administrative duties as required Your skills and experience We're seeking a committed team player who will support a team of drivers to complete their tasks efficiently and safely.
Key qualifications and attributes include: Experience in an operations management or scheduling role Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and manage many competing priorities.
Be a clear and strong communicator with an ability to accurately forecast workloads Strong problem solving ability.
