Electrical Infrastructure Specialist
This key position involves delivering cutting-edge electrical solutions across various sectors. As an Electrical Infrastructure Specialist, you will design and implement critical infrastructure that powers industry, encompassing high-voltage power distribution, motor control, automation, protection systems, and industrial electrification.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop technical designs and project manage projects on heavy industrial sites, food and lifesciences, and water sites.
* Design and develop instrumentation and electrical systems, including single-line diagrams; motor starter drawings; electrical layouts; instrument loop diagrams; cable schedules; PLC I/O schedules.
* Manage projects, procurement, and commissioning for existing and greenfield systems.
* Define scope/requirements and procure equipment, software, and installation work.
* Prepare detailed design contractual reports and construction-related services.
* Understand client processes to gain knowledge of the client's business across industries; build strong customer relationships and ensure services meet client expectations.
* Provide implementation phase support, including contractor supervision, progress monitoring, schedule reviews, contract management, minor procurement assistance, and expediting.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer with technical design and project management experience.
* Experience undertaking projects for heavy industrial sites, food and lifesciences, and water sites.
* Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to work within a larger project team to achieve good engineering outcomes.
* Experience across electrical systems and equipment up to 11kV and below; instrumentation and control system applications.
* Knowledge of design tasks such as instrumentation and electrical systems, including SLDs, motor starter drawings, electrical layouts, instrument loop diagrams, cable schedules, and PLC I/O schedules.
