We're a Top 50 ASX-listed company operating across the healthcare sector, operating as a trusted brand partner and essential service provider across Australia, where our Legal team manage a large and complex retail and commercial property portfolio.
We're currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our legal team, working closely with the Legal Counsel, Property team, and stakeholders across the business.
**About the opportunity**
As a Paralegal, the role will involve:
- Coordinating the preparation and finalisation of retail lease renewals, variation deeds, and occupancy documentation
- Working closely with internal leasing and property teams, as well as external landlords and agents
- Preparing and managing templated legal documents including NDAs, procurement agreements, and licence documents, which may include retail leasing and internal commercial agreements
- Tracking lease and contract milestones, ensuring critical dates are met and documents are processed efficiently
- Maintaining template libraries and assisting in rolling out updates and process improvement
**Who are we looking for?**
- 2+ years' experience in a paralegal or legal support role, ideally with exposure to retail leasing or property
- Familiarity with legal templates and standard commercial agreements
- Proven attention-to-detail and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude
- Legal studies or paralegal qualifications (e.g. Cert IV, Diploma, or LLB - completed or in progress)
