About the role
Parkwood PS is seeking to appoint a committed and passionate primary teacher to join our Intensive English Centre Team. The role is a 6‐month fixed‐term, full‐time position commencing Term 2, 2026 with possible permanency.

* Consistently apply the Berry Street Education Model and its strategies to support student engagement and wellbeing.
Qualifications
* Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
* Have an understanding of the science of learning and evidence‐based teaching practices.
* Experience with programs aligned to explicit instruction pedagogy, such as UFLI, Heggerty, Word Origins, Prime Mathematics, or Talk for Writing.

Eligibility
* Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
