About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in a busy specialist practice. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of the front office, providing outstanding administrative support, and delivering a first-class patient experience. Work-life balance is a priority: This role offers a four-day in-office work week with the flexibility to work one day from home, providing a highly sought-after hybrid model. Key Responsibilities Patient Welcome & Management: Greet patients warmly, manage check-ins, and ensure all necessary forms and documentation are completed accurately. Appointment & Scheduling: Efficiently coordinate and schedule patient appointments, procedures, and follow-ups. Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the specialist and medical team. Inquiry Handling: Professionally address patient inquiries, providing clear and accurate information about services and procedures. Records Management: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and medical files. Billing & Claims: Assist with billing inquiries, process payments, and manage basic insurance claim information. Office Operations: Contribute to the overall smooth operation of the reception area, ensuring a positive and organised environment. Skills & Attributes We're Looking For Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Medical Receptionist, ideally within a specialist medical practice setting. Exceptional Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first approach. Tech Proficiency: Competence in medical practice software and general office applications. Highly Organised: Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Problem-Solver: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a can-do attitude. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced and supportive team environment. Reliability: A strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
