Overview
The National Sales Manager will drive a culture of sales excellence, accountability, and execution. The role will be fully remote with a requirement to travel domestically up to 50% of the year.
You will lead and develop a team of technical sales professionals to achieve the following outcomes:
* Retain existing customers through value-based, long-term relationship building.
* Grow existing accounts through channel-first strategies aligned to our commercial priorities.
* Gain new customers and secure additional market share in line with the growth roadmap.
Responsibilities
* Talent Development & Performance Management: Proactively manage individual and team performance in line with organisational objectives; coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve their full potential; build an environment that encourages feedback and empowerment that supports capability building.
* Strategic Growth & Market Value Proposition: Continuously enhance and communicate the value proposition by leveraging company capabilities, insights, and resources; develop and execute robust account plans detailing customer strategies, requirements, sales forecasts, satisfaction metrics, and continuous improvement actions.
* Customer & Industry Engagement: Build deep customer intimacy with key accounts, ensuring strong relationships across all critical stakeholders; act as a trusted partner to customers, understanding their needs, challenges, and buying motives; demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen to unlock new growth opportunities; lead strategic initiatives that elevate organisational performance and drive incremental improvements.

Qualifications
* Proven experience in sales leadership ideally within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. You will have led medium size teams with the ability to drive accountability while leading with empathy.
* A strong track record in not only managing existing revenue pipelines but also building repeatable systems that deliver growth.
* You will have a coaching mindset and be someone who thrives on developing teams and driving improvement.
* You will be a data driven leader who can effectively use various sales analytics to influence key decisions.
