About MG Plumbing & Maintenance:
Based in Berrimah, NT, MG Plumbing & Maintenance is a fast growing team of 17 Plumbers, 5 Carpenters and 4 Admin Staff. We are a professional team looking for a highly motivated team player.
We are seeking an Administration and Operations Officer to join our team with an immediate start!
This is a full time, permanent and long-term role as part of a versatile team.
Your role will include:
* Responsible for day-to-day HR administration and support
* Reporting to Directors and Senior Staff
* Assistant duties to Directors, Office Manager and Finance Manager
* Assisting in project management (SWMS, project contracts, and project scheduling)
* Assisting commercial manager in construction project administration
* Data entry and assisting accounts manager reconciling accounts
* Assisting accounts with invoicing
* Assist in ensuring jobs are ready to be invoiced
* Maintain and strengthen customer and supplier relationships
* Liaising with clients and suppliers
* Office support to trades
* Ordering of materials and parts
* Monitoring and responding to emails efficiently
* Job, uploading, scheduling and coordination in AROFLO (trade scheduling and management system)
* Provide excellent customer service
The successful candidate will have:
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to show initiative and work under pressure meeting required deadlines
* Highly motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Clear communication skills and understanding
* Previous experience within trades administration
* Strong understanding of Microsoft office suite
* Will fit within the business culture and work well in a team-based environment
In house training will be provided.
