We're looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Lead to take ownership of our safety framework in Australia and play a key role in our global safety initiatives. If you're passionate about prevention, culture and continuous improvement, this is your opportunity to make a genuine impact.
About the Role
Reporting into the Head of Risk, Quality and Assurance, with a dotted line to COO – Australia, you'll lead the development and delivery of our Health, Safety & Wellbeing framework across Australia. You'll work closely with leaders and teams across multiple sites, ensuring safety is embedded into everything we do.

This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll influence, coach and support the business to create a strong, proactive safety culture.
What You'll Be Doing
* Develop, implement and maintain an ISO 45001‐aligned Health & Safety Management System
* Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments, with clear reporting and follow‐up actions
* Lead workers' compensation claims management and support effective return‐to‐work programs
* Partner with leaders to champion safety, wellbeing and injury prevention
* Provide practical advice and coaching to teams across the business
* Ensure compliance with Australian WHS legislation and internal policies
* Contribute to global health and safety initiatives within the thl group
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a safety advisory or leadership role (high‐risk environments highly regarded) with a true belief that all incidents are preventable
* Formal qualifications in Work Health & Safety (international is acceptable)
* Strong working knowledge of multi-disciplinary WHS legislation (highly desirable)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
* A proactive, adaptable and solutions‐focused mindset
