The successful candidate will provide academic leadership within the College, contributing to teaching in programs such as Remote Health Practice, Medicine, Paramedicine, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver high-quality research that aligns with the Flinders Rural & Remote Health Strategy and RHMT program.
* Contribute to teaching and student placements, developing materials and delivering lectures.
* Lead collaborations across disciplines and with external stakeholders.
* Mentor early-career researchers and supervise research students.
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD or equivalent qualification, be registered with a relevant health professional board, and demonstrate commitment to the principles of Flinders University's Reconciliation Action Plan.
A strong track record of excellence and leadership in teaching within Rural and Remote Health is essential, along with expertise in Nursing, Medicine, Allied Health, or Public Health.
Suitable candidates will have evidence of active engagement with the discipline or profession through contributions to external professional and community networks.
