Job Title: Bar Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure responsible service of alcohol procedures are practiced at all times
* Greet guests and escort them to tables
* Train and monitor Food and Beverage Attendants and ensure service standards are met
* Audit and verify Team Members time records for accuracy
* Supervise all Team Members in daily outlet operations, providing necessary assistance
* Maintain approved service sequences and standards at all times
* Carry out opening and closing procedures to a high standard and supervise the outlet
* Operate point of sale cashiering computer system efficiently, ensuring accuracy and balancing till and department cash float
* Maintain a high level of cleanliness and care of equipment and materials; ensure outlet security
* Promptly report any maintenance work required to management and maintenance department
* Manage outlet stock levels
* Complete Restaurant daily log book
* Develop training plans and conduct on and off job training sessions for Team Members
* Attend scheduled food and beverage meetings as required
* Monitor outlets manpower, payroll budget, control costs and maximize profitability
* Adhere to personal grooming standards to maintain professional appearance; monitor service personnel's appearance and grooming
* Be punctual, efficient and courteous at all times with guests and fellow Team Members
* Aware of own work schedule and provide adequate notice when unable to adhere to that schedule
* Handle guest complaints immediately, courteously and satisfactorily
* Evaluate performance of subordinates as instructed
Qualifications:
* Hold current RSA license
* Experience working in a food and beverage role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
* Demonstrate an energetic and vibrant personality that engages guests
* Be an invaluable team player and well-rounded leader
* Show strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
