Senior / Associate Mechanical Engineer - Building Services We are recruiting for a Senior or Associate level Mechanical Engineer for our client, a multidisciplinary boutique consultancy that provides engineering design services across sectors such as health, industrial, commercial, residential, and mixed-use.
Roles and Responsibilities Deliver conceptualised detailed design across Mechanical Services Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards Write detailed technical specifications and reports Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) in a timely and accurate manner Attend and contribute to project meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively Skills and Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Proven local experience of 5+ years as a consulting mechanical engineer within the building services industry Must have a Design Building Practitioner Licence or ability to easily attain it due to experience with Class 2 Buildings Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, CAMEL and Revit Able to work in an autonomous but supportive environment Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen Full-time work from home role (must be based in Sydney for potential site visits) Professional body fees paid for up to one organisation and more if you are prepared to take ownership of your designs Work in a collaborative team environment About Us Heaton Rail undertakes work both locally and internationally for some of the world's best companies that make a positive difference to millions of people's lives every day.
