About the Role
Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is on the lookout for an energetic & relationship-driven Stakeholder & Community Engagement Coordinator to help shape how we connect, listen, and grow alongside communities across East Arnhem Land.
This is an exciting, newly created role within a newly established Marketing & Advancement team - designed to elevate Miwatj’s National profile and bring a fresh, modern approach to storytelling, engagement, and impact.
What You’ll Do
Working closely with remote communities, clinic teams, and leadership, you’ll be at the heart of how Miwatj engages with stakeholders, helping to design and deliver thoughtful, culturally respectful engagement initiatives that truly reflect the voices and priorities of the people we serve.
From coordinating on-the-ground activities across remote communities to supporting innovative campaigns and partnerships, you’ll play a hands-on role in strengthening connections and amplifying Miwatj’s impact.

This is more than coordination, it’s about helping shape a new way of working, where community voice, collaboration, and modern engagement practices come together to support better health outcomes.
The Day-today
* Coordinate stakeholder and community engagement activities
* Support community consultations, meetings, forums, and events
* Maintain stakeholder databases and engagement records
* Assist with communications, briefings, and engagement materials
* Coordinate travel, scheduling, logistics, and event planning
* Work closely with operational teams to support consistent engagement across communities
* Help improve engagement systems and processes
About You
* Experience in stakeholder, community, or engagement coordination
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
* Experience coordinating events, meetings, or community activities
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
* Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, Aboriginal community contexts and cultural protocols
