Responsibilities
* Safely handle LIN during the filling of various sized containers, ensuring each dewar is filled correctly and in accordance with procedures.
* Lift and decant LIN dewar vessels weighing 15 kg to customer dewars 60 to 150 times per day.
* Check and fill LIN vessels accurately, report literage of LIN and maintain precise records.
* Use Mobi to record accurate information and maintain up‐to‐date documentation.
* Collect run sheets, organise routes, and select the most efficient route for deliveries.
* Liaise with the Logistics Coordinator concerning run allocations and report any issues.
* Verify the accuracy of delivery and return records for ALH gas cylinders, and address discrepancies following company procedures.
* Print service calls and run sheets, prepare load sheets and manifest files, and load delivery vehicles.
* On vehicle return, check paperwork and Mobi entries, assist with unloading, and report any issues immediately to the logistics coordinator or Operations Manager.
* Assist with warehouse stock‐take activities.
* Report defective vehicle issues promptly.
* Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
* Maintain a valid MR licence and a clean driving record, and comply with all road and traffic regulations.
* Comply with company policies, workplace health and safety requirements, MSDS instructions, and all applicable regulations.
* Adhere to safe work procedures at the ALA filling centre site.
* Carry out additional duties as directed by the Direct Manager.
Physical Demands
Lift 15 kg dewar vessels 60–150 times daily; lift or push loads up to 150 kg; climb stairs; 40–50% of the workday involves lifting, carrying, and pushing. Must be physically fit to perform these tasks.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 1 year delivery, logistical and/or operational experience.
* Valid MR licence.
* Dangerous Goods training and Load Restraint training is a plus.
* Basic technical skills and strong safety focus.
* Computer literacy in applications such as spreadsheets, documents, Gmail and other relevant software.
* Ability to manage competing demands and complete tasks to the required standard.
* Ability to interpret a wide variety of instructions, safety rules, operating instructions and procedures from different sources.
* Ability to solve practical problems.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills; pleasant and polite telephone manner and ability to speak effectively to customers and colleagues.
* Ability to handle cylinders.
