The successful candidate will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and IT assistance to end users, requiring strong technical skills and a customer-focused approach.Key Responsibilities:Implement, manage, and retire infrastructure (physical, virtual, networking, cloud) supporting digital services.Navigate monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of on-premises Red Hat OpenShift clusters, especially within government services.Support, troubleshoot, and automate OpenShift environments to ensure stability and efficiency.Key duties and responsibilities:Design, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability.Assist developers with automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using OpenShift, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.Manage clusters, resource allocation, configuration, and capacity planning within OpenShift environments.Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.Implement security best practices, including vulnerability scanning and role-based access control.Lead technical teams on OpenShift projects, mentoring junior engineers and managing project timelines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business goals.Maintain documentation and share knowledge actively.On-call and occasional out-of-hours support may be required.Required Skills & Qualifications:2-4 years of onsite support experience.Knowledge of Windows 10 OS, EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, Outlook.Understanding of VPN and mobile device support preferred.Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Remedy.Optional: knowledge of Active Directory, supporting tablets, lifting/moving equipment up to 20kg.Essential Criteria:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field, or 5+ years of experience in large-scale ICT environments, including 3+ years in Kubernetes environments.Experience in system administration, especially OpenShift/Kubernetes, with knowledge of networking, security, storage, and troubleshooting.Mandatory: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent, or willingness to obtain certification within 3-6 months.Desirable Criteria:Certifications in Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), CKA, or willing to obtain within 3-6 months.Knowledge of additional ICT technologies like Ansible, Helm, Python, Bash, CI/CD, Git, Linux.Must-Have Skills:NVL1 Certification (Security Clearance).CompTIA A+, MCDST, or equivalent.Experience with cloud applications (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).Knowledge of IT security best practices.Proficiency in English.Why AVASO Technology?Join a dynamic, innovative, and global team.Opportunities for career growth and continuous learning.Competitive salary and benefits.Work with cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of IT.EEO Statement:AVASO Technology Solutions does not discriminate based on race, color, sex, creed, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, pregnancy, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
