**We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused administration staff member to join our motivated and dynamic team.**

**About the Role**

Joining our friendly team, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to patients and their families across our clinics’ Administration and Accounts departments. You will be a proactive professional with excellent communication skills and a quality improvement mindset.

You will also be responsible for all administrative duties within the department and undertake all identified tasks and duties as part of a team that works cooperatively, sharing roles and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer.
- Duties may include, but are not limited to:_
- Confirming health fund coverage, completing self-funding quotes
- Checking in patients and ambulances
- Cash handling & EFTPOS payments
- Precise data entry to ensure patient information is updated
- Provide administrative support to relevant departments.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will bring a professional administrative skillset and the ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy area. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a team of doctors, nurses, pathologists, administrators and non-clinical staff.
- You will also bring:_
- Previous experience in hospital mainframe systems - **desired**:

- Previous Hospital, Medical Reception or Health fund experience - **desired**:

- Health fund experience **desirable**:

- Computer literacy and exact data entry, including competent keyboard and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to complete tasks within designated time frame
- Experience in billings, private and funded patients will be highly desirable.

**Requirements**:

- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
